Hotel Edda South Iceland
The Hotel Edda chain, which holds a very strong position

and are only open during the summer. Most of them are
run in the student quarters of schools, as well as the
student lodging area of a grammar school with rooms
ranging from 20 – 204 of differing quality. The
star-rating is from 2 (hotel Edda) to 3 stars (hotel
Edda PLUS).

nearby Skógar Folk Museum is one of
Iceland’s finest museums; its collection
includes several reconstructions of old
houses, as well as a museum of transport.
The museum is a five-minute walk from the
hotel. Horses are available for hire nearby.
