Fosshótels North Iceland

Áning Economy Tourist Class
By far, the largest hotel in the area,
operated as a summer hotel while the
buildings are used as a boarding school over
the winter. This hotel includes a
restaurant/bar, 24 hour front desk service,
several sitting & TV lounges, internet
office and parking. The 61 rooms with
shower/wc and 4 rooms without private
facilities are simple. Fosshótel Áning is
located near the centre of Sauðárkrókur,
close to a viewpoint hill and the local
swimming pool. Good conference facilities
for up to 150 people are offered in the
school across the street.

Laugar Comfort Class
The largest hotel in Northeast Iceland with
50 rooms with shower/wc and phone & 22
rooms with shared facilities, sleeping bag accommodation also available. Restaurant,
bar, two breakfast rooms, an indoor swimming
pool, reception with 24 hour service,
internet station and parking available.
Fosshótel Laugar operates as a summer
hotel, and is partly used as a boarding
school during winter. Rooms without
facilities and sleeping bag accommodations
are basic, while rooms with shower/wc are
spacious. |

A friendly and well-equipped hotel, located
in the heart of Húsavík and within walking
distance to the harbour. This hotel, has 70
comfortable rooms, all with shower/wc,
satellite TV, radio and phone. Other
facilities include a restaurant, bar, a
reception, elevator, internet station, rooms
for handicapped, conference facilities for
up to 300 persons and parking. |
