What a way to spend a day! Starting with a
two-hour flight west from Reykjavik,
Kulusuk is situated near the entrance of
Ammassalik fjord in East Greenland.
Enjoy an escorted walk down to the village,
with short stops en route to soak up the
atmosphere, take pictures and purchase hand
made craft articles. A demonstration of kayak
rowing and the ancient drum dance will be
preformed by local people, weather permitting.
In the late afternoon you will return to
Iceland, and en route, the flight allows a
spectacular view over the village and
surrounding area; truly magnificent scenery
with huge glaciers and floating icebergs! Return to your accommodation in Reykjavik for the overnight stop before continuing your journey to Europe, or enjoying another day tour in Iceland.
