Day 1: Arrive in Keflavik, transfer to your accommodation in Reykjavik for two nights.
Day 2:
A full day Golden Circle tour including the
highlights of Thingvellir, Gullfoss
waterfall and the Geyser hot spring area.
Day 3:
Transfer on your own to the domestic airport
for the flight to Faroe. Upon arrival
you will transfer to Torshavn by shuttle bus
and check in to your accommodation in
Tórshavn for three nights.
Day 4:
Use the morning shopping for woollen goods
and take in a cosy café. In the afternoon,
there is an excursion to the fantastic
Vestmanna bird cliffs, taking the bus over
the mountain to Vestmanna where the boat
trip starts. The boat sails alongside the
vertical rock walls and into the small
sounds and deep grottoes. After the pleasant
boat trip, you will visit the ancient Viking
settlement in Kvívík before returning to
Tórshavn, where a rich nightlife of
discotheques, cafés and bars awaits you in
the town centre. Day 5: Today's excursion is to the island of Sandoy. This is a full day trip that includes a half hour ferry journey to this beautiful island, where you can still experience the traditional Faroese way of life. The island has many interesting places, such as the puffin colonies and bird cliffs. Lunch is included in the excursion and in the evening, choice from one of the lovely local restaurants in Torshavn.
Day 6:
Transfer by a shuttle from Tórshavn to Vágar
airport for your return flight to Reykjavik.
Upon arrival, transfer on your own to your
accommodation for your last night in
Reykjavik. Take in one of the many
restaurants!
Day 7:
Transfer by shuttle to Keflavik Airport for
your return flight to North America.
You may choose to upgrade this transfer to
include a stop of the Blue
Lagoon, soak in the geothermal mineral
waters and return home feeling relaxed and
revitalized.
