A perfect itinerary to travel all around this dramatic country. From Geysirs to whale watching, and all the sights in between, this is a truly comprehensive tour of Iceland.

Day 1: Following arrival in Keflavik Iceland, you will transfer to your accommodation in Reykjavik

Day 2: Pick up your vehicle in the morning and head out to Thingvellir and on to the famous Geysirs. 

Day 3: Head out on the coastal road, enjoying the spectacular drive as you reach Vik for the overnight stop. 

Day 4: The drive continues through Skatafell Park to the Glacial Lagoon where there are optional boat tours available. 

Day 5: The coastal route will continue to amaze you as you wind north through the fjords to Egilstaedter. 

Day 6: You are in the remote northwest now, and have a unique opportunity to visit the wild waterfall of Dettifoss as you continue to the whale watching centre at Husavik. 

Day 7: A full day to explore the Lake Myvatn area or take an optional whale watching tour. 

Day 8: On to Akureyri, Iceland's "Northern Capital". 

Day 9: The drive now brings you to the lush horse-breeding region of the country and continues to the shores of Hunafloi Bay where you will overnight. 

Day 10: This is the home region of Eric the Red, and you can explore his history before driving on to the dramatic Snaefellsnes Peninsula. 

Day 11: A full day to explore before driving the final 150kms into Reykjavik where you will drop the car. 

Day 12: A full day in the Icelandic capital. 

Day 13: After breakfast you will transfer with your baggage to the Blue Lagoon en route to Keflavik airport. A perfect solution for what to do on your last day in Reykjavik and a great way to go home feeling relaxed and revitalized! With your baggage safely stored on the coach enjoy a soak in the lagoon or treat yourself to a massage.
