The 22,080grt Bahamian flagged Marco Polo with her handsome traditional profile, beautiful teak decks and distinctive dark blue hull and deep draft is a fully stabilised and air conditioned classic ocean liner, extensively re-built in 1993 for the discerning premium cruise market.

She can accommodate up to 850 guests and has eight passenger decks, serviced by three main lobbies and four lifts. Her wide range of public facilities include; the impressive Seven Seas Restaurant offering two sitting dining or as an alternative dining experience, the more informal and stylish Raffles bistro.

There are five lounge areas comprising the theatre style Ambassador main show Lounge, the elegant Polo Lounge, the perfect venue for pre-dinner cocktails accompanied by the resident pianist, the Charleston Club up on Promenade deck, an ideal spot for the night owls or the relaxing Palm Court with wonderful panoramic ocean views and the extended Le Bar offering yet another comfortable lounge option.

Marco Polo is an extremely comfortable ocean liner with a wide range of public areas and deck spaces in which to relax. However, it is your cabin that should be the perfect place to unwind after a busy day sightseeing ashore and your unobtrusive cabin steward will ensure that you enjoy a high degree of comfort and service, whichever grade of accommodation you decide best suits your holiday requirements. There are fifteen categories of cabins and suites, primarily graded according to size and deck position and even in the most economical cabins, the standard features are impressive.

 

DS		Category DS: De Luxe Suite Oceanview (Average size 484 sq ft/44.96 sq m) Pamper yourself with one of our two impressive De-Luxe Suites that offer stylish accommodation and provide an elegant retreat in a prime position on the Upper Deck. The bedroom offers a King Size bed, a walk-in wardrobe, ample storage space and a mirrored dressing table, whilst the marble bathroom has a bath, shower and WC. In the separate living room there is comfortable seating, a TV and a VCR and other amenities include a refrigerator, hair dryer, direct-dial telephone, music console and personal safe. Choose between the Mandarin Suite (706) on the port side or the Dynasty Suite (703) on the starboard side of Upper Deck.
JS		Category JS: Junior Suite Oceanview (Average size 253 sq ft/23.50 sq m) There are just four Junior Suites; two each on the Main & the Upper decks. These delightful cabins have twin beds, which can convert to Queen Size, an integral sitting area, a marble bathroom with bath, shower and WC, a refrigerator, walk-in wardrobe and plenty of drawer space, mirrored dressing table, TV, hair dryer, direct-dial telephone, music console and personal safe. All four Junior Suites have windows although cabins 811 and 812 have views partially obstructed by the lifeboats.
DL		Category DL: De Luxe Twin Oceanview (Average size 213 sq ft/19.81 sq m) There are eight De Luxe Twin Bedded cabins, two of which are situated on Main and six located on Sky Deck. They benefit from large windows and comprise Queen Size beds, an integral sitting area, a bathroom with bath, shower & WC, a refrigerator, wardrobes and drawer space, mirrored dressing table, TV, hair dryer, direct-dial telephone, music console and personal safe. Cabins 803 to 806 on Sky Deck have partially obstructed views.
12		Category 12: Premium Twin Oceanview (Average size 161 sq ft/15.02 sq m) These spacious premium cabins are primarily located in the midships section of Main Deck and here all the twin bed cabins (except 432 & 433) can convert to a Queen Size bed. There are also two forward cabins on Promenade Deck with Queen Size beds and three forward cabins on Upper Deck. The remaining cabins of this grade are on Sky, the highest passenger deck, but have views partially obstructed by the lifeboats. Each cabin has a large window, in many cases two; as well as a bathroom with shower & WC, wardrobes and drawer space, mirrored dressing table, TV, hair dryer, direct-dial telephone, music console and personal safe.
11		Category 11: Superior Plus Twin Oceanview (Average size 139 sq ft/12.91 sq m) There are six cabins situated forward on Promenade Deck whilst the remainder of the Superior Plus accommodation is located in the forward and after sections of Main Deck. They have one window and a bathroom with shower & WC, wardrobes and drawer space, mirrored dressing table, TV, hair dryer, direct-dial telephone, music console and personal safe. The Main Deck aft cabins (504 to 545) feature twin beds that convert to a Queen Size bed.
10		Category 10: Single Oceanview (Average size 129 sq ft/11.97 sq m) Ten outside twin bed cabins, deemed as particularly suitable for sole occupancy, have been selected on Main and Promenade Decks for single travellers. They have one window and a bathroom with shower & WC, wardrobes and drawer space, mirrored dressing table, TV, hair dryer, direct-dial telephone, music console and personal safe. Cabins 656 and 661 have partially obstructed views.
9		Category 9: Superior Twin Oceanview (Average size 137 sq ft/12.75 sq m) These cabins are situated on the higher Promenade & Upper Decks and whilst they have windows rather than portholes, a good number, primarily on Upper Deck have obstructed sightlines and these are indicated by the circle symbol on the deckplan. In addition some of the cabins on Promenade Deck have limited wardrobe space. Amenities include a bathroom with shower & WC, wardrobes and drawer space, mirrored dressing table, TV, hair dryer, direct-dial telephone, music console and personal safe.
8		Category 8: Standard Plus Twin Oceanview (Average size 141 sq ft/13.14 sq m) This grade of cabins extends over three decks with larger cabins found on the Safari and Pacific Decks, and the more compact located on the higher Bali Deck. Most cabins have two portholes and each has a bathroom with shower & WC, wardrobes and drawer space, mirrored dressing table, TV, hair dryer, direct-dial telephone, music console and personal safe. A number of the lower deck cabins have additional berths for a third or fourth occupant.
7		Category 7: Standard Twin Oceanview (Average size 127 sq ft/11.78 sq m) Comprising two lower beds, these slightly larger cabins are located on Safari, Pacific & Bali Decks and the majority enjoy ocean views through two portholes. Two cabins, 255 and 262 have an upper Pullman berth for an additional occupant. Facilities include a bathroom with shower & WC, wardrobes and drawer space, mirrored dressing table, TV, hair dryer, direct-dial telephone, music console and personal safe.
6		Category 6: Standard Twin Oceanview (Average size 119 sq ft/11.08 sq m) Situated on the Safari and Pacific Decks, these cabins have twin lower beds and most benefit from ocean views through two portholes. They have a bathroom with shower & WC, wardrobes and drawer space, mirrored dressing table, TV, hair dryer, direct-dial telephone, music console and personal safe.
5		Category 5: Single Inner (Average size 100 sq ft/9.31 sq m) Two of these comfortable cabins are on Safari Deck and three are located on the Upper Deck. Each has a bathroom with shower & WC, wardrobes and drawer space, mirrored dressing table, TV, hair dryer, direct-dial telephone, music console and personal safe. They are particularly well suited to the single traveller.
4		Category 4: Premium Twin Inner (Average size 158 sq ft/14.70 sq m) The most spacious inner cabins can be found on the Main, Promenade & Upper Decks. They comprise of two lower beds but the majority of cabins in this grade can also offer accommodation for a third or fourth passenger in additional upper pullman berths. Amenities include a bathroom with shower & WC, wardrobes and drawer space, mirrored dressing table, TV, hair dryer, direct-dial telephone, music console and personal safe. Cabins 631 and 655 on Promenade Deck are specifically equipped for handicapped passengers.
3		Category 3: Superior Twin Inner (Average size 126 sq ft/11.71 sq m) Most cabins are located throughout Main Deck but there are six slightly smaller cabins situated on Promenade Deck and they all comprise two lower beds, a bathroom with shower & WC, wardrobes and drawer space, mirrored dressing table, TV, hair dryer, direct-dial telephone, music console and personal safe.
2		Category 2: Standard Plus Twin Inner (Average size 126 sq ft/11.71 sq m) Also comprising two lower beds, there are four of these slightly larger cabins on Safari Deck, whilst the majority are situated on Pacific & Bali Decks.
